Instruction management style
Style of instruction-Top level work flow management:
1. Current Enterprise management-¡°Cells¡± management and ¡°Column¡± management
For current business there are 2 kinds of management-¡°Cells¡± and ¡°Column¡± management. The idea
of ¡°Cells¡± management is to manage the company by department (specialists). To manage the
similar efforts together. For example, fianc¨¦, stock, design, performance and office etc.
Therefore, we normally have the department of fianc¨¦, stock, design, performance and office. The
chief of the company manage the whole company by managing each department, no matter what kind of
the company is and no matter what product does this company produce. The idea of ¡°Column¡±
management is to manage the company by each individual project (task). For example, a company
produce several kind of products, for some reasons a particular product need to be re-calculate
its cost. Another example, within a company there are some temporary tasks need to be done, but
there is no such a department to deal with it normally. In these cases, we need to use ¡°Column¡±
management. The word ¡°Column¡± means: from the commence to the end of a particular task. In the
concept of management, ¡°Column¡± management is emphasizing on the task itself. Compare with
¡°Column¡±, the ¡°Cells¡± management is emphasizing on the general management of the company. What
we need to notice is that the combination of ¡°Cells¡± and ¡°Column¡± management. For general
management we use ¡°Cells¡±, but for specific tasks or projects we use ¡°Column¡±. That means a
good combination of these two kind of management could help a lot in managing a company, and would
be much more efficient than any single management over the company.
Typical ¡°Cells¡± management is the ERP system of enterprise. ERP is a functionality task
management system. It provides plenty of functions for users. It provides a clear division on:
design, manufacture, transit and the quality control. Therefore, we called it ¡°Cells¡± management.
Typical ¡°Column¡± management is the request/response communication system. We use response of a
request as an example, the management of each message, draft out, audit, confirm, release, and
sort in file. The above processes are all the issues we need to manage. The content for each task
met be different, but the way of managing them would be the same.
